This law firm has been practicing law since 1981. That was the year Attorney ZItzkat left another firm to start his own. The firm grew because of its reputation for personal service and knowledgeable advice given to clients over the years. Other than the first few years of its existence, Attorney Zitzkat has never advertised—clients have come to him by word of mouth alone. In fact, starting in 2011, this website is the first and only website this firm has ever had.

In the early days, Attorney Zitzkat practiced in every field of immigration law, including deportation (removal) proceedings, Asylum, labor cert, non-immigrant visas, etc. Now, Attorney Zitzkat has limited his practice to employment based visas, both immigrant and non-immigrant. Currently, his practice is limited to cases in the areas of PERMS, Special Handling, EB-1a, EB-1b and NIW, and non-immigrant visas such as H-1b, L-1, TN, O-1, R-1, as well as family cases.

Attorney Zitzkat has over 30 years of experience practicing law. He has also been a member of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association) for 30 years. Most of his staff have been with him for many years. His son, a recent college graduate, has joined the firm. He is expected to be starting law school soon.

The vast majority of clients of this firm are scientists. Attorney Zitzkat has a background and long-standing interest in science, and is capable of understanding that which most attorneys would not have the background for. This is important, especially in EB petitions, because part of the attorney's job is to explain in relatively simple terms what a scientist is doing, and why it is important.

Attorney Zitzkat prides himself on being available. You will never have a lawyer easier to get ahold of when you need him, or more willing to talk to you about your problems.
